BayTSP works extensively with corporate counsel and outside law firms to provide court-tested evidence for any potential litigation.
When an individual is identified sharing a client’s assets, BayTSP collects identifying information, including the individuals IP address, Internet Service Provider, date and time of infringement and information on the file being shared. BayTSP’s systems allow clients to create business rules that automatically send DMCA-compliant takedown notices or the client can opt to review infringements individually via the Customer Information Management System (CIMS).
Once a takedown notice has been sent, BayTSP monitors for compliance. BayTSP’s clients report that 80% of individuals who receive a takedown notice immediately remove the infringing content.BayTSP can also generate court-tested evidence packages in the event the client chooses to litigate the infringement.
