The widespread use of computers and the Internet has created a haven for pedophiles to anonymously publish and exchange files, meet children online, and satisfy their deviant desires.

BayTSP has worked with Law Enforcement agencies to develop Safe-KIDS, a system multiple Internet protocols, including peer-to-peer networks, to identify individuals sharing child exploitation imagery online. Safe-KIDS streamlines the labor-intensive process of identifying individuals sharing illegal imagery and narrows their location to within 20 miles, automatically routing cases to the closest field officer.
